Jeff Carter off to Los Angeles in Exchange for Jack Johnson

Early Thursday night, the big deal was official. Blue Jackets centre Jeff Carter was heading to the Kings in exchange for defenceman Jack Johnson and a first round pick in either 2012 or 2013.

Tim Thomas lays big hit on Henrik Sedin



Halfway through the third, Tim Thomas shows that the players aren't the only ones that can throw big checks. Boston ended up winning the game 8-1.

8-1 was the final score tonight, more goals than the last two games combined. Boston scored four goals in the second period to lead 5-1 going into the second.
